Year 13
Digital Tech Level 3 school holiday program
There are still spaces available if anyone else is interested in attending a L3 digital tech course next week, i.e. WEEK 1 of the School Holidays: July 6th to July 10th 2020 ? This course works towards 13 x Level 3 credits, is run by NZSE and is a hands on computer hardware & programming course where students will take apart the hard drive & get to learn what makes a computer tick, as well as cover general IT programming skills. This cost of this course will be covered by Gateway so if you are interested please come and see Sara in the Gateway office asap. Thanks

This course is aimed at Level 2 students (7 credits), is run by NZSE Advance Training and full of activities with Drills, Marching & fitness sessions. Year 9
Attn. year 9 waka classes
Whaea Anna will be running the Travellers programme with a handful of Year 9 students next term. The first thing to be done, though, is to run the short online survey of all year 9 students. Involvement in Travellers is by selection after the survey is completed, though you have a chance to opt out if selected. 

The following classes, please come to room 21 during waka time this week (schedule below). The survey will will lead into period 1 slightly.
  • 9MEP at waka time on Monday
  • 9AL at waka time Tuesday
  • 9CA at waka time Wednesday
And I'll do catch ups in extended waka on Thursday.

Attention: Teacher AidesTina, the NZEI Rep for Tai Tokerau will be available for questions around the Teacher Aide's pay equity negotiations on Thursday 2 July at 1:30pm.
